ट्रिपल तलाक पर याचिका लगाने वाली इशरत जहां भाजपा में हुई शामिल सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक तीन तलाक की लड़ाई ले जाने वाली पांच याचिकाकर्ताओं में से एक इशरत जहां शनिवार (30 दिसंबर) को पश्चिम बंगाल बीजेपी में शामिल हो गईं। हावड़ा के वार्ड नंबर 17 के बीजेपी दफ्तर में महिला मोर्चा के नेताओं की अगुवाई में शामिल होने के बाद इशरत ने कहा कि इस पार्टी में शामिल होकर उन्हें अच्छा लग रहा है। उन्होंने तीन तलाक पर कानून बनाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का आभार जताया।  शामिल होने के बाद बीजेपी महिला मोर्चा की अध्यक्ष दुर्गावती सिंह ने इशरत जहां के हाथों में पार्टी का झंडा थमाया। बताया जा रहा है कि लोकसभा में तीन तलाक के खिलाफ मुस्लिम महिला (विवाह संरक्षण अधिनियम)-2017 विधेयक के पास होने के बाद इशरत ने भगवा पार्टी में शामिल होने का फैसला किया।

Senior Supreme Court lawyer Rajeev Dhavan to appear in Ayodhya case Senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan, who recently gave up court practice in wake of his courtroom spat with Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra, has reconsidered his decision on the request of his client to appear in the Supreme Court in the Ram Janamabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute. Seventy-four-year-old Dhavan had on December 11 called it quits after what he described as a "humiliating end" to the Delhi government-Centre dispute case following heated exchanges between him and the CJI. Advocate Ejaz Maqbool, who is representing some of the Muslim bodies in the Ayodhya land dispute case, said that they had urged Dhavan to represent them in the matter and the senior counsel has accepted the request. He said that before Dhavan announced that he had given up court practice, the senior lawyer was appearing for them in the Ayodhya dispute case.   आगामी चुनावों की रणनीति के मद्देनज़र  मकर सक्रांति के बाद होगी भाजपा राष्ट्रीय कार्यसमिति की बैठक भाजपा अध्यक्ष अमित शाह ने मकर सक्रांति के बाद पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय कार्यसमिति बैठक आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है। बैठक में गुजरात और हिमाचल के जीत की खुशी साझा करने के साथ आगामी चुनावी राज्यों की रणनीति भी बनेगी। गुजरात और हिमाचल प्रदेश में  भाजपा को जीत दिलाने के बाद शाह की नजरें अब कर्नाटक, त्रिपुरा और मेघालय के चुनाव पर केंद्रीत हो गई हैं। आगामी चुनावों की रणनीति को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए उन्होंने पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय कार्यसमिति बैठक बुलाने का निर्णय लिया है। वैसे भाजपा संविधान के अनुसार पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय कार्यसमिति की बैठक हर तीन माह के बाद होनी आवश्यक है। मगर चुनावी व्यस्तता के वजह से अबकी बार की बैठक थोड़ी विलंब से हो रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि मकर सक्रांति के तुरंत बाद भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय कार्यसमिति की बैठक होगी। वैसे बैठक की तिथि और स्थान पर अभी अंतिम निर्णय नहीं हो सका है। लेकिन 20 से 25 जनवरी के बीच बैठक होनी निश्चित हुई है। बड़े नेताओं की सुविधा के लिहाज से...

Govt directs NGOs to open a/c in any of the 32 designated banks  The Home Ministry has directed all NGOs, business entities and individuals who receive funds from abroad to open accounts in any of the 32 designated banks, within a month for higher level of transparency. The directive to the NGOs, companies and individuals to open foreign contribution accounts in banks, which are integrated with the central government's Public Financial Management System (PFMS), came for providing a higher level of transparency and hassle -free reporting compliance, according to the ministry order. According to the order dated December 21 by the MHA , the NGOs are directed to comply with the order within one month. Govt also tells them not to do anything detrimental to national interests.
